With over ten years of experience in the world of high fashion and an upbringing immersed in LA street culture, Luca Kingston brings his uniquely cultivated vision and attention to detail to each job he takes on. This refined level of skill along with a light and disarming personality make him an increasingly sought after talent.
Luca started his fashion career in 2008, running the closet for the industry acclaimed New York-based television show Gossip Girl. After Luca was introduced to Heidi Bivens through a friend, he began to assist the Vogue Sittings Editor and iconic cult film costume designer on editorials for major publications such as: Vogue, Teen Vogue, Lula, and Purple, among others. He subsequently moved to LA in 2009 to begin work under Samantha McMillen, number three on THR's 2018 list of Hollywood's most powerful stylists. Luca trained with Samantha full time for two years, perfecting the art of celebrity styling as he learned client rapport, set etiquette, developed strong relationships with brands, and continued to fine tune his creative eye.
Luca continues to work and collaborate with Samantha periodically on set and in fittings as he is trusted to carry out work on her behalf. He has worked with such talent as Josh Brolin, Ellen Page, Mark Wahlberg, Michelle Pfieffer, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo and Evan Rachel Wood, to name a few. Luca has further developed his eye, skill set, and ability to see different stylistic approaches through his long working relationships with a multitude of industry giants including stylists Simon Robins, Rob and Mariel, Annie Psaltiras, and David Bonney.
Luca currently works as a stylist and costume designer in LA on a freelance basis.
